EDUCATION & BACKGROUND
Shane's decision to become a financial advisor was influenced by personal experience. After losing his father to lung cancer at age nine, he witnessed the strain his family faced due to a lack of financial planning. He wanted to help other kids and families avoid the challenges his family faced, so he pursued a degree in finance and in 2016, started an internship with Northwestern Mutual. Since then, he has earned his Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation. He graduated from Austin Peay State University, where he played college baseball.
PERSONAL
A first-generation American with Dominican heritage, Shane lives in West Nashville's Charlotte Park area. He's married to Cortney, and they have a young daughter named Rielle. His perfect weekend would involve a round of golf, watching sports (specifically the Tennessee Titans, Boston Red Sox, and Ole Miss), spending time outdoors with family and friends (preferably by a pool), and attending their church, The Belonging Co. He also enjoys running, often participating in full and half marathons.
Shane values giving back to his community, and he currently serves on the board of CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates).
